About Noah
Noah Meineke started making pottery in 1993 while in attendance at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC. In 1997, he graduated with a bachelor of fine arts with a concentration in ceramics from ECU. After a brief period of exploration he concluded that he could not give enough of himself to the world through a career of conventional employment. He then took a position with Happy Valley Pottery of Watkinsville, GA. It was there that he learned the essentials of pottery production studio management and realized a vision for the future that he wanted for his life and his work. Over the next three years he developed a line of creations in a rented studio space at Happy Valley. The demand for work and more space facilitated the studio relocation to the residence of T.M. Pottery, in Comer, GA. Meineke Pottery was born. Although technically already in production, the benefits of more space and materials gave new life to the, already budding, enthusiasm Noah had for his work. Meineke Pottery has been exhibited and sold in many craft shows and galleries in the Eastern US, including the Buyers Market of American Craft in Philadelphia, PA. The work illustrated in this site is all available for sale and shipment around the world. E-mail or phone Noah to request a price list or quote on custom dinnerware packages
